Tee Type Globe valves (Z-Body)

The Tee Type Globe valve design is the most prevalent body type, featuring a Z-shaped diaphragm. The horizontal orientation of the seat allows the stem and disk to move perpendicular to the horizontal line. This design exhibits the lowest coefficient of flow and a higher pressure drop. Tee-pattern Globe valves find application in demanding throttling services, such as in bypass lines around a control valve. They are also suitable for use in applications where pressure drop is not a critical factor, and throttling is necessary.
