What is Angle Type Globe valve?
The Angle Type Globe valve design is a variation of the standard Tee Pattern Globe valve. In this design, the ends of the valve are at a 90-degree angle, and fluid flow takes place with a single 90-degree turn. Angle Pattern Globe valves have a slightly lower coefficient of flow compared to wye-pattern Globe valves. They find application in scenarios with periods of pulsating flow due to their ability to handle the slugging effect associated with this type of flow.
